On 16th and 17th October, the National Women's Enterprise Day conference, organised by the County and City Enterprise Boards will take place in Portlaoise. The conference aims to inspire, activate and assist women across Ireland in running their own business. The Irish Times has teamed up with the County and City Enterprise Boards to offer one businesswoman or aspiring entrepreneur and a guest tickets to attend the National Women's Enterprise Day Conference with one overnight stay at the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

This overnight package includes a half day conference programme, supper and informal networking plus one night's accommodation for two people at the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel on Wednesday 16th October, followed by breakfast, a full day conference programme and lunch on Thursday 17th October.

Successful businesswomen sharing their experiences at the conference will include Ramona Nicholas of Cara Pharmacy and Dragons' Den 2013; Kathleen Lynch T.D., Minister for Disability, Equality, Mental Health and Older People will deliver the opening address on Wednesday October 16th while the conference chair is Colette Fitzpatrick of TV3 News.
