Four full Gaeltacht College scholarships to be won with Gael Linn

The Irish Times has teamed up with Gael Linn to offer you the chance to win one of four full scholarships, for 2nd level students, to one of the Gael Linn Gaeltacht Colleges.

These Gaeltacht Colleges are:

- Coláiste Mhachaire Rabhartaigh, Donegal
- Coláiste Bhun an Inbhir, Donegal
- Coláiste Bhaile Bhúirne, Cork
- Coláiste Riocard Bairéid, Mayo

The winners of this prize will have the opportunity to stay in any one of the four Gael Linn Gaeltacht Colleges. The Gaeltacht course will last for 22 days and the scholarship covers all accommodation, tuition and activities for the duration of the students’ stay.

Gael Linn would also like to offer a €150 discount to competition entrants who book summer courses for second level students between 12th April and 31st May 2013.

Terms & Conditions

  • The promoters are The Irish Times Limited, The Irish Times Building, 24-28 Tara Street, Dublin 2 and Gael Linn, 35 Dame Street, Dublin 2.
  • Prize consists of four scholarships (one scholarship per winner) which include full bed and board accommodation, a full Gaeltacht course lasting 22 days, and extra-curricular activities for the duration of the course.   
  • Employees or agents of The Irish Times, and their families or other persons connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter
  • Prize is as offered and no cash alternative will apply.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion.
  • Students who recieve these scholarships must be aged between 11 and 18 years.
  • Scholarship winners must have the permission of a parent or guardian to attend the course.
  • Scholarship must be used entirely for a Gael Linn summer course for second level students.
  • Scholarship winners may choose which College they wish to attend, subject to availability.
  • The scholarship must be used during during summer 2013.
  • Gael Linn would like to offer a €150 discount to competition entrants who book summer courses between 12th April and 31st May 2013.
  • Discount will apply to students registering with Gael Linn as a result of this competition, students not already registered or customers from 12th April to 31st May 2013.
  • Competition winners will not receive a €150 Gael Linn summer course discount in conjunction with a Gael Linn scholarship.
  • A valid entry consists of a correct answer entered in the form above, accompanied by the entrant’s name and email address.
  • Entries must be entered online in the form above.
  • The promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
