About The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny
Opera as you’ve never seen it before, this site-specific immersive production of The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny is directed by Lynne Parker and presented by Rough Magic and Opera Theatre Company for six performances only. In the debauched city of Mahagonny, pleasure and vice are gods and cash is king. This electrifying Brecht/Weill opera stars Irish singers Claudia Boyle & Anne Marie Gibbons, with full orchestra and chorus conducted by David Brophy and is winner of the Sky Arts Ignition award.

Brooks Hotel is situated on Drury Street in the heart of Dublin's Creative district, surrounded by Dublin's most luxurious boutiques, upmarket bars and trendy restaurants.

The pre theatre meal is a three course meal for two people in Francesca’s Restaurant, a dedicated member of Good Food Ireland.
